November 5, 2025 — New York, NY — The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) has appointed Vancouver-based curator Kate Wong to organize the Curated Spotlight section for the 23rd edition of NADA Miami, taking place December 2–6, 2025, at Ice Palace Studios.
This marks the sixth edition of Curated Spotlight, a sector of the fair in which an invited independent curator highlights a focused selection of emerging galleries and nonprofit spaces. Previous editions were curated by Ebony L. Haynes, Joeonna Bellorado-Samuels, Jasmine Wahi, Jenée-Daria Strand, Kendra Jayne Patrick, and Simon Wu.
Wong, formerly curator at MOCA Toronto, is known for exhibitions such as Tishan Hsu: Interface Remix and for founding SITE Toronto, a nonprofit project exploring adaptable and non-hierarchical cultural models.

For the 2025 Curated Spotlight, Wong selected:
- EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop (NYC)
- Spill 180 (NYC)
- EL CONSULADO NYC (NYC)
- Romance (Pittsburgh)
- Southside Contemporary Art Gallery (Richmond, VA)
Each will present a focused solo or two-artist project aligned with Wong’s interest in alternative models of artistic support, cultural collaboration, and platform-building.
