EL CONSULADO NYC

A Living Space of Migration and Belonging

Born from the longstanding absence of institutional support and consular representation for Venezuelan artists in the U.S., EL CONSULADO reimagines the consulate not as a bureaucracy but as a moving creative magnet, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and community building through interdisciplinary artistic practices.

Artists at Work

EL CONSULADO NYC presented KIOSKO at NADA Miami 2025, held at Ice Palace Studios from December 2–6, 2025. Organized by New York's New Art Dealers Alliance, NADA is a global stage where groundbreaking art and new voices are discovered and amplified.

  • Representation: Venezuelan creativity — diverse, resilient, and multidisciplinary — at one of the most prestigious art events in the U.S.
  • Cultural Power: EL CONSULADO, debuting as the first NYC-based Venezuelan collective to present at NADA Miami 2025 during Miami Art Week.
  • A Historic Milestone: Over 40 Venezuelan artists showcased together in the U.S. for the first time in decades, a defining moment for Venezuelan diaspora art.
