Open Call for Artists
El Kiosko β A Roaming Platform for Collectible Art & Sound
El Kiosko
El Kiosko is a traveling art and sound installation, micro-storefront, and experimental consulate for collectible culture β debuting during Miami Art Week and continuing through upcoming art fairs in New York City and beyond.
We invite visual artists, musicians, designers, and collectives to propose small-format, collectible works adapted for this modular mobile kiosk β a sculptural structure that circulates in public space, operating both as installation and point of exchange.
Part object-driven platform, part curated booth, El Kiosko will blur the line between the artistic, the editorial, and the commercial β engaging ideas around mobility, roaming, access, and economies of scale.

About the Project
El Kiosko is produced by El Consulado, in dialogue with museums, curators, and independent institutions. It acts as a sculptural consulate, traveling between cultural hubs and inviting the public into a tactile, sonic, and conceptual zone of exchange.
While El Kiosko embraces the formats of display and circulation often found in galleries, fairs, and pop-up retail, it also questions them. The project acknowledges that although the art marketβthrough galleries, museums, and fairs β plays a significant role in shaping the economic value of an artwork, artistic merit transcends commerce.
Value is not fixed at the point of sale; it lives in an artwork's aesthetic resonance, historical echoes, and cultural relevance. By inviting artists and musicians to work at an intimate scale β and through both physical and digital means β El Kiosko encourages audiences to rethink the terms of value, authorship, and collectibility.
Whether analog or encrypted, pressed or painted, these are works meant to circulate not just in markets, but in memory.
