KIOSKO Reframed as a Space for Solidarity
In light of the devastating tragedy currently unfolding in Venezuela, KIOSKO is being reframed as a space for solidarity, gathering, and support.
Presented by Eugenia Sucre Projects and EL CONSULADO at Henrique Faria Fine Art, in the context of the exhibition Venezuelan Cultural Diplomacy, KIOSKO extends EL CONSULADO’s work with contemporary art from Venezuela and the diaspora through the familiar form of the kiosk: a place of exchange, circulation, community, and encounter.
From now through July 10, a curated selection of more than 200 small-format works and artist-made objects is available for purchase online, including paintings, drawings, prints, artist books, zines, records, cassettes, postcards, stickers, pins, and editions.
The works were presented at Henrique Faria Fine Art in New York, where the KIOSKO pop-up remained open through July 6, culminating in a closing encounter at the gallery.
Funds generated through this fundraising initiative will benefit World Central Kitchen in support of relief efforts in Venezuela.
We invite you to explore the catalogue, share the project, and support participating artists and relief efforts in Venezuela.

About KIOSKO
KIOSKO is a mobile platform developed by EL CONSULADO to circulate books, editions, objects, publications, and small-format works by Venezuelan and diasporic artists. Through accessible formats and temporary presentations, KIOSKO creates spaces for exchange, visibility, and encounter across artistic communities.
About EL CONSULADO
EL CONSULADO is an artist-run collective dedicated to supporting Venezuelan diasporic artistic practices through exhibitions, editorial projects, and community-centered cultural initiatives. Founded in response to the diminishing institutional representation of Venezuelan art abroad, the collective builds alternative infrastructures for visibility rooted in collaboration, mobility, and care.
