Florencia Alvarado

Florencia Alvarado (Maracaibo, Venezuela) is a visual artist, photographer, and designer based in New York. Her practice combines photography, digital art, collage, scanners, and still life photography to explore representation, identity, and the interplay between analog and digital imagery. She is the co-founder of WMN Zine, a lesbian publication that has been awarded the Queens Funding for the Arts Grant twice for its commitment to visibility, community, and queer artistic expression.
