Adriana Barrios Mendoza is a Venezuelan graphic designer and visual artist with over 25 years of experience. She graduated from the Instituto de Diseño Perera (Caracas, 1992) and completed a Diploma in Management and Interpretation of Cultural and Natural Heritage at the Central University of Venezuela (2010–2011). Her career spans visual arts, video art, and community-based cultural work, with a focus on contemporary art and environmental awareness. Barrios has exhibited individually at the Sofía Imber Gallery, Andrés Bello Catholic University Cultural Center (Caracas, 2023), and La Caja 1, Chacao Cultural Center (Caracas, 2018). Since 2013, she has developed art and recycling workshops for children and youth—projects supported by Banesco’s participatory budget initiative. Her work has been shown in the United States, Colombia, Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Romania, South Korea, and Argentina. In 2002, she received an audiovisual residency grant from the G3 Artistic Exchange Program (CONAC–CONACULTA, Mexico City).
